2024 Annual Conference Panelist Bios

Christopher Brement, President, Bramante Homes

A native of Virginia, Christopher Brement has enjoyed a lifetime of custom home building; in his teen years performing many trades on-site and in his adult years collaborating with clients, designing and selling homes, as well as leading Bramante’s team of specialized experts, offering well-guided custom home experiences.

Christopher is passionate about building cool homes that enrich the lives of everyone that our flywheel touches; from employees and trade partners to our clients and all industry stakeholders.

He believes that a relentless pursuit of growth is paramount to working and succeeding together in order to have and maintain a healthy real estate industry.

Christopher is committed to giving back to the community and enjoys volunteering in a variety of ways.  When he’s not building houses he can be found spending time with his wife, two daughters and dogs, often near a lake or the ocean.


Doug Bennett, General Manager, Commonwealth Building Materials

The general manager for Commonwealth Building Materials, Doug has been with the company for 27 years. He started with CBMI at the location in Harrisonburg.

In 2003, after focusing on sales and operations, Doug was appointed as manager at the Winchester location. He moved to Norfolk in 2008, where he managed and supported markets in Richmond, Williamsburg, and Hampton Roads.

He was appointed GM in May 2023 and today resides in Richmond, covering all markets in Virginia.


Hans Klinger, VP Real Estate Development, HHHunt Communities 

Hans Klinger is HBAV’s 1st Vice President and Treasurer for 2024. He is Vice President of Real Estate Development – Feasibility and Entitlements at HHHunt, a real estate development company that develops land, builds homes, and builds apartments from three company divisions throughout the mid-Atlantic region. 

He has a civil engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from the University of Richmond. Although he still holds a professional engineer license in Virginia, his engineering days are well behind him.

Currently in his 24th year at HHHunt, he leads their due diligence and zoning efforts on future development projects. When he’s not working on increasing the housing supply in his professional life, Hans enjoys hobby farming, forestry, woodworking, and welding. 


Jesse Faisant, VP of Operations, Ryan Homes 

Jesse has been with NVR (parent company of Ryan Homes) since 2005.  He is based out of their Richmond office and oversees all aspects of NVR’s business for the Richmond, Hampton Roads, and Charlottesville markets. 

 

 

 

 


Mya Tran-Harter, Senior Vice President, Intercoastal Mortgage LLC

With over 25 years of service, Mya is a mortgage industry veteran known for her professionalism, integrity and customer service. Throughout her extensive career, she has been a trusted advisor who specializes in new construction financing.

From securing construction loans to traditional financing, Mya adeptly navigates clients through the process and ensures a seamless experience. She has mentored hundreds of mortgage professionals in addition to helping thousands achieve homeownership.

Driven by the mission of elevating others, she’s often heard saying, “The road to success is a lonely one; take as many as possible along for the ride.”  Mya is also the founder of The Mya Group at Intercoastal Mortgage, a class of accomplished mortgage professionals serving clients from coast to coast. In her free time, Mya is a Buckeye wife, bonus mom, Jedi aunt, foodie, sports enthusiast, passionate philanthropist and proud first generation Vietnamese-American.


Preston Lloyd, Partner, Real Estate & Land Use, Williams Mullen

Preston Lloyd counsels national, regional and local property owners and developers in connection with commercial real estate transactions, especially matters related to land use and zoning, economic development, historic preservation, public finance and local government law in jurisdictions in Virginia.

He assists in aspects of the entire development cycle, from negotiating the purchase/sale of land, to site development, financing and leasing.

Preston serves as chair of firm’s land use practice and co-chair of the firm’s economic development industry service group.

 


Tracey Jameson, Senior Vice President, Real Estate Loan Officer, TowneBank

Tracey is a Senior Vice President with TowneBank who specializes in working with homebuilders and residential developers. She has more than 15 years of banking industry experience and graduated from the College of William and Mary with a BBA in Finance. Tracey is also active with the Home Building Association of Richmond and the Home Builders Association of Virginia. 

 

 

 

 


Todd Robertson, President, Stateson Homes

As the President and majority owner of Stateson Homes, Todd brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the new homebuilding industry.

Todd started Stateson Homes in 2012.  Stateson Homes has grown from 12 sales in 2012 to over 150 in 2023.  Stateson Homes operates in Roanoke, The New River Valley, and The Northern Neck. Todd believes that it is the responsibility of the Stateson Homes team to create great customer experiences and lasting value in their new home and community.

Todd believes that recruiting the right people, creating the right culture, and giving them the tools to excel is his most important role.

Todd is a results-oriented business leader who understands the importance of the customer and all other stakeholders. He has a proven track record of successfully starting and growing organizations. Todd earned a Finance Degree from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.  Todd has served on various boards such as The New River Community College Foundation, Radford University Foundation, Blacksburg Museum and Cultural Foundation, Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, and Mountain Lake Hotel Advisory Board. Prior to launching Stateson Homes, Todd spent nineteen years with a large publicly traded homebuilder where he spent time in construction management and sales management before being promoted to Division President in 2004 and remained in that role until he left to start Stateson Homes in 2011.
